To say that I was excited to recieve my review copy of Codemasters’ racing title F1 2010 would be an enormous understatement.
Immediately upon receiving my review copy I posted to my twitter, stating my excitement about being a part of what is still the ongoing action of the Formula One 2010 season.
As I played through the game I was surprised by just how thorough this game really is. A racing game experience that is beautiful, extensive, and satisfying? How would you rate it?

If there is one thing that I both enjoy and dislike most about being me it is my uncontrollable need to do more than one thing at a time. My current dealings in gaming are as true to that statement as is the rest of my life at the moment, but then this isn’t a blog about my personal life so let’s get to the games.
Currently I am playing two games to review for my team at GirlGamer.com
F1 2010 for the 360
and Aragorn’s Quest for the Wii.
So far I have dumped most of my time into F1 2010 as I am finding the game to be very detailed and intensive (Be sure to check back for the link to the review here and at GirlGamer.com). The other tasks have taken to the wayside but as I got closer into the late part of October i knew there were a few items I needed to attend to for personal gaming pleasure.
A) Super Scribblenauts for the DS. I really loved Scribblenauts when it came out, in fact you can find my impressions article archived here o, so i was very excited to hear that SUPER Scribblenauts would hit stores this month. After unsuccessful attempts to acquire a review copy of the game I went out and picked up the game on release day in support of the game and the creative awesomeness that developed it. Being the only person in the store not buying the new Medal of Honor, I decided this was a great time to take care of October item number two.
B) Costume Quest. THQ/ Double Fine’s Costume Quest looks like the kind of game I will thoroughly enjoy not only due to my love of Halloween.
” In the game, the player controls a child that is trick-or-treating with his or her younger sibling on Halloween night when they encounter a monster that kidnaps the sibling, thinking the candy-corn outfit is really candy. The player must travel around the local neighborhood collecting items for their costume, fellows children as companions and candy in order to face the monster and retrieve the sibling. The costume aspects are used in battle segments, where the player character and companions are transformed into the monsters and creatures they are dressed as to fight other monsters.”
Costume quest is downloadable on October 20th through Xboxlive Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points and so in preparation I picked up my points card for just such a title.
So in the coming weeks while my blog and presence slow down you can rest assured that i am diligently keeping abreast of the news and titles that are in your focus. I too am interested in the new MOH, and Black OPS the newest COD edition, and of course AC Brotherhood as it runs through beta for PSplus subscribers and will keep you aprised as best i can.
For best results please be sure to add me on twitter at @myasharona and as always feel free to drop me a line, I would love to hear about what you are playing waiting for and looking forward to!
